【ART】イスタンブール現代美術館

あっという間の連休でしたが、幸いにもお天気は良好でお出掛け日和でしたね☆

コンシェルジュ･バミのお知り合いの方で、「遅い夏休み」を取ってバケーションに・・・♪という方もいました。

遅い夏・・・？　いえいえい秋です！秋。

遠い海外においても秋は芸術に親しむ季節のようです？

トルコの地で集英社さんのマンガ展「Discover MANGA －the world of SHONENJUMP－」が10月5日から開催されています。

イスタンブール現代美術館での開催ですが、集英社さんが海外でマンガ展を開くのは今回が初めてとのこと。

展示会では名前にあるようにマンガ一色の展示会になっています。

「Discovering MANGA Zone（マンガと出会う／見る）」

「Reading MANGA Zone（マンガを読む）」

「Understanding MANGA Zone（マンガを知る）」

という3つの展示ゾーンに分けて、週刊少年ジャンプを題材にして

国内でもあまり例のないカラー画が多数展示されています。

「Discovering MANGA Zone」には少年ジャンプの巨大なオブジェが“鎮座”し、少年ジャンプ作品の複製原画28点が展示されています。

またワンピースの尾田栄一郎先生の直筆色紙や「NARUTO -ナルト-」のアトラクションなどの展示もあります。

「Reading MANGA Zone」では少年ジャンプ作品の英語版コミックスが読めるコーナーが設置されています。

そこに幅が３ｍ、高さ１７０ｃｍもある「NARUTO -ナルト-」屏風が展示されています！

「Understanding MANGA Zone」では鳥山明先生と尾田栄一郎先生の下描きからペン入れ、着色までを収録した作画風景がビデオで紹介されています。

日本でもなかなか見れないですよね・・・すごい価値のある映像です。

尾田先生の作画風景は世界初公開になっています！！！

そのほかにも「ONE PIECE」の下描きやキャラクター設定画や第2話の複製原稿なども展示されいます！

Discover Manga!

Within the scope of the “Japan Year 2010 in Turkey” İstanbul Modern presents the exhibition Discover Manga!: The World of SHONENJUMP showing different facets of Japanese culture and examples from the art of manga.
Organized with the support of Shueisha Inc., one of Japan’s major publishers, the exhibition extensively introduces the art of Japanese comics, manga, which has become a part of everyday life in the country and is a significant cultural phenomenon spreading throughout the world.
Published both for children and adults, mangas draw the reader into the world of action, adventure, comedy, drama, fantasy, love, and science fiction. The exhibition Discover Manga!: the World of SHONENJUMP presents the stages of creating a manga and its journey from the first drafts to publication through original sketches, documentaries, drawings, and installations.
On the 120th anniversary of relations between Turkey and Japan İstanbul Modern continues its pop-up exhibitions with the introduction of an exhibition dedicated to Japanese manga, which has millions of fans throughout the world. We would like to thank the Consulate-General of Japan in İstanbul which was unsparing in its support toward making this exhibition possible.
